What Is It?

Ever wondered what one thing makes M-Changa most unique? Some say its the convenience. Others say its the speed with which you can withdraw your funds. Most say it is the transparency. I would say it is the features. M-Changa product features in particular, wow me!

Do you know what these features are? If not, don’t sweat it. Today we are all about M-Changa features 🙂

This section gives summarized details on your fundraiser. It tells you about your number of supporters, the total amount raised, the target amount and the number of days left to the fundraiser expiry date. It also displays seven of your most recent transactions.

This section contains all the details on donations made, all withdrawals made and expenses incurred during withdrawal. You also have an option to download a PDF or excel sheet containing this information!!

Here you will get all the notifications concerning donations, expenses, and withdrawal details. You should constantly check your notifications to stay up to date.

You initiate your withdrawal request here. There are two main options; Mobile money and EFT (electronic funds transfer). It is important to note that the minimum amount of withdrawal is 250 Kenyan shillings# and with an offline fundraiser you are limited to mobile money withdrawals.

When looking to upload your verification documents this is the section to be at. Other than being able to upload your documents, you will know whether your ID/Passport has been approved at this point.

Do you know that you need two to four treasurers for your account to be verified? Here, you will be able to add them by adding their full names and phone number. Once you add this they will receive a message asking them whether they accept or decline the treasurer role.

Because we value your feedback this section gives you a chance to talk to us. What do you love most about M-Changa? What should we improve? Any new suggestions for an addition? You can tell it all to us here.

My Images and Videos
What better way to support your story than with images and videos! You can now add images and videos in this section. Make sure your video is as convincing as your story is. It will do the magic!

Who is a patron? A patron is an individual who helps advocate for your fundraiser to hit its target. With M-Changa, you can add up to five patrons. To add a patron you will need to input their name and email address. They will then receive the patron role request; once they accept the role their info will be added to your fundraiser share page.

In this section, you will get a personalized link for your fundraiser. You can also be able to share your fundraiser and donation statement directly to Whatsapp, Facebook, and Twitter.

Update donors
Do you want to thank your donors or keep them updated on the fundraiser progress? We provide you with 243 free messages for this.

Donors Top-up
Do you know the most successful fundraisers have close to half of their supporters make repeat contributions? M-Changa sends an automatic message to your fundraiser asking them to donate their initial donation. How cool! It is also important to note that the donor top-up can only be done once per fundraiser.
