Quin Elsa, a queen, has fought the cancer battle and won!

In 2016, Quinn was diagnosed with Nephroblastoma- a cancer of the kidney that occurs in children. She underwent treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital but was forced to go to India after a relapse. In India she was able to receive treatment through the financial support of Kenyan’s through M-Changa. She underwent a successful bone marrow transplant that has made her stable now.
She hasn’t experienced any relapse in the last 2 years that she has been off treatment!
Quinn Elsa’s campaign, set up by Ndungu Nyoro of Affecto, was able to raise Kenya Shillings 5,228,884 through the help of 9,789 amazing supporters. This overwhelming support to the little queen proved that through M-Changa, no one fights alone!!
M-Changa is a Kenyan online fundraising platform that was launched in 2012 to make fundraising more convenient, more efficient and more secure than the traditional harambee. To date, over 30,000 fundraisers have raised millions of dollars from over 500,000 contributors.
